Owners Feedback

We have always purchased used vans in the past, on seeing the new Geist at our local dealer we made a decision that this had to be our first brand new van.
On finding the Geist owners website, we used the feedback to highlight possible issues with our new van.
So far our impressions are very favourable, In particular the build quality and layout.
Nevertheless, there are some things that require attention and possibly alteration to design.
1- Shower tray leaked.
There appeared to be 3 holes at the back which needed to be covered and sealed over.
2- Poor television picture.
On investigation there not only was no booster box but no aerial fitted.(Our dealer has agreed to fit the relevant units at our convenience)
3- Waste water piping.
This needs to be moved as the waste container behind the caravan awning skirt is very awkward. We have also had water from the kitchen sink flow back up into the shower tray (no plug supplied for shower)
This problem may be overcome by moving the waste to the non awning side.

Apart from the minor problems above we have spent a few days in the van and are very impressed with all aspects and look forward to many years with our Geist.

PS Check the screws holding mirrored doors and hob glass covers before moving the van.
