The layout of the LV555 was exactly what we wanted, and other similar
British-made caravans were not a patch on build quality. Having said that, we had one or two 'teething problems', but Yorkshire Caravans are
sorting these out.
Just returned from 3 weeks in France, where we should have been payed as demonstrators, after a stream of viewers wanting to look around! The
van tows effortlessly behind our Kia Sorento.
One or two suggestions for use:-
We have fitted a seperate chenile fly-curtain to the doorway, because the half-blind/bottom door combination is a pain if you are in and out.
We have used a tent-style porch awning and a 2.8m Fiamma sun-blind on our van, -they both fit on the awning rail side-by-side! However, it
would have been nice to have a slightly lower rail below the main awning rail, so that we could have used the 3.5m Fiamma and/or the awning.
I agree that the fly-blind on the front window is too wide to operate properly, but if you adjust the side guides, it works better.
Negatives:-
1 where do you put the rubbish bin?
2 why is there no aerial connector on the tv table next to the door?
