Collected new 485 on Tuesday 19 July from local dealer 6 miles away at 10.45. Finally arrived home at 17:10. Could not attatch Winterhoff hitch to car. Initialy one bolt was loose. Replaced hitch - same problem. Slackened rear bolt half a turn and was o.k. Dealer fit battery blew 15 Amp fuse. Found this upon returning home. Quality of fittings appear to be of good maunufacture and are well presented. Main light in living area keeps tripping 12 volt switch. Chrome trims in shower still has green protective film on and do require sticking firmly in place.foud radio cables and speaker cables hiding in panel
All motor mover fixing and clamping bolts have not had locking nuts tightened and one side clamp is 
   5 mm out of position.


Have owned 1 MARDON 3 SWIFT 3 ABI 1 ECCLES in past 20 years. Now trying 
something with 5 year waterseal warranty.I have read other feedback and agree two more reading lights would benefit bedtime reading. Handbook is not particularly good. ie what is the remote for? None of the sales staff new. Fixtures and fittings seem to be fine and well fitted. Except:
Interior light keeps tripping out 12 v circuit switch. Chrome trims in shower unit still have green protective film on and require better fixing.
Could do with two extra reading lights for bed time readers. Handbook does not cover many items. i.e. not a single sales person at local dealer knew what the remote keyfob was for. Two out of three 
sugested an alarm. one said it should not have been in info pack. Its for the interior lights!!
Other forum complaints seem to have been solved on 2005 models. Overall very pleased with Geist but I have many issues to take up with supplying dealer regarding customer service and incorrectly fitted after sales equipment. 

I will return after using the caravan and give further views.
Dissapointed yet ? Dealer yes. Geist no.
