Gone are the LV and DL ranges, replaced by the Xklusiv and Aktive Ranges -XK & AK
The XK range offers fours models and the AK range three models. The bias of these new caravans is far more towards fixed bedroom layouts offering doubles, twins and
bunk arrangements. Both ranges offer the new for 2006 option of under-floor heating. This system pumps hot water around a series of pipes recessed into the floor. These pipes are covered by an Aluminum sheet, which dissipates the heat evenly across the floor.
Also gone are the troublesome BPW chassis, replaced by heavy duty Alko units throughout the range.

External graphics and
paint schemes have become far more continental, with the adoption of silver wheel arch spats on the XK range and a Silver ABS front panel on the
AK. Internally, the wood on the XK range has become much darker and similar to the 2005
motorhomes. Equally troublesome front chests have also gone to be replaced by additional seating.
These caravans are
certainly quite a departure from the conventional and some would say
conservative, styling and layouts of most mainstream UK caravans.

A breath of fresh air or too much of a departure from the clubman
style of caravan ?
Does
Geist's marketing term: German Engineering with British finesse still hold
true, or are these caravans getting too much towards - German Engineering
with German finesse ?
