Geist held
their dealer and press launch for the 2005 motorhome and tourer
range, at
the Elizabeth Hotel in Hull - 13th-15th July 2004.
The
2005 range features three new low profile, Fiat based motorhomes. These are
well specified and very competitively priced.
Although
displayed in LMC livery, these motorhomes are very close to the 2005 Geist
branded products.
The
Geist brand name is now prominently displayed in large, widely spaced letters
on both the front and rear panels of all tourers.
Whilst
the 2004 graphics were subtle and understated. These bold new graphics announce that the Geist
brand has arrived and quite literally underscore the company’s
confidence in the product.
In
recognition of the move to a single trim level. The S andLV prefixes have been dropped. Tourers now have very striking,
embossed resin badges
Internally,
the LMC built tourer range has received some minor modifications. One of
the most noticeable is a very smart pair of halogen down-lighters inside the
door. These are fitted on the end-washroom models.
Bunk-bed bases are now upholstered.
More
compact reading lights have been substituted on side dinettes. These
should be less intrusive when the top bunk is in use.
A
new thicker, more stylish curtain fabric has also been specified.
The
new Dethleffs built tourer breaks slightly with the original concept
of replicating tried and tested British interiors in German body-shells.
The
520 has a very continental feel to its interior layout with its fixed
bunks beds. This tourer is aimed squarely at young families and manages to
combine style with practicality.
